We are very glad to provide our first financial support to “23.WGM Tournament Flower of the Mediterranean” in Croatia that was organized in March by the tournament director Ivan Mandekic. Our commission appreciates a long tradition of this closed tournament (this year it was already its 23rd edition), very good playing conditions for the female players and a huge engagement of Mr. Mandekic in women’s chess in Croatia. This way we would like to thank Mr. Mandekic for his contribution and tireless engagement in promoting and supporting girl’s and women’s chess in his country.
